Tell the Senate: Pass President Obama's Buffett Rule!

On April 16th, 2012, the U.S. Senate will vote on whether to pass President Obama's proposed "Buffett Rule." The rich need to pay their fair share. That's why President Obama's Buffett Rule -- to make people earning $1 million or more pay at least the same tax rate as middle class families -- is so important. The public overwhelmingly supports the Buffett Rule and it will be a big test of whose side U.S. Senators are on -- the 450,000 Americans who make over $1 million, or the other 300 million Americans who don't.

To Members of the U.S. Senate:

I urge you to vote "Aye" on April 16th regarding President Obama's proposed "Buffett Rule" requiring people making over $1 million to pay at least the same tax rate as middle-class families. As millions of Americans file their taxes this month, we are reminded that the wealthiest Americans still do not pay their fair share. It's time you helped change that.

Sincerely,

[Your Name]
