Watch "Gender Auditors" and pledge to vote "NO on Prop 8"
Don't eliminate marriage for anyone
This November, Californians will vote on Proposition 8, a ballot measure that
would, as the ballot description reads, "eliminate the right of same-sex couples
to marry."
With two new polls showing Prop 8 receiving more support than opposition, our challenge is clear. Those who oppose the dignity of the love and relationships
of gay and lesbian couples are determined to deny Californians the fundamental freedom, fairness and equality we have worked so hard to achieve.
It's up to us to spread the word to our friends, family and neighbors that Prop 8
is a fundamental invasion of our privacy. But we're going to do it with a wink
and a smile. Watch "Gender Auditors" -- our satirical new YouTube
video -- and pledge to vote "NO on 8" today.
After you sign the pledge, please spread the word to your friends to sign the pledge and remind them that the right vote is a "NO" vote on Prop 8. It all starts
with you.
I pledge to vote No on Prop 8, a statewide ballot initiative that, if passed, "eliminates the right of same sex couples to marry." Gay
and lesbian couples deserve the same fundamental freedoms that all Californians enjoy. I pledge to vote No on any constitutional change
that stands in the way of equality for all.
