California has spent 30 years giving the rich and corporations tax breaks that make it difficult to meet our obligation to help those in need. Because of that we face tough choices about how to solve the budget mess.

Just as we are going to fight to restore marriage equality, the 700,000 members of the Courage Campaign are going to fight these cuts. We are about to launch a campaign to stop these cuts and save California. The first step, even before we can contact legislators, is to determine our priorities.
