Tell Meg Whitman you support California's global warming law

Sign our petition demanding she promise to implement AB 32

Billionaire CEO Meg Whitman, who wants to be governor, has promised to suspend implementation of AB 32, California's landmark global warming bill passed in 2006, as her very first act in office. Whitman and Sarah Palin both believe that we shouldn't do anything right now about the climate crisis, regardless of the consequences.

It's time Californians showed Meg Whitman that we don't agree with her and Palin -- that we support AB 32 and believe that California should continue to reduce our carbon emissions and lessen the impact of global warming.

Meg Whitman,

We, the undersigned, strongly support California's efforts to protect our jobs, our environment, and our future by regulating and reducing carbon emissions. We reject and oppose your efforts to join Sarah Palin in blocking meaningful action on the climate crisis.

We continue to support Assembly Bill 32, the landmark global warming bill passed in 2006. We do not want it suspended. We reject your misleading claims about its economic impact, and believe that California's economic future depends on reducing carbon emissions and generating sustainable, green jobs that cannot be outsourced.

We demand that you reverse your pledge to suspend AB 32, and instead pledge to implement it as quickly as possible. Our state's future depends on it.

Sincerely,
