Mr. President: Don't wait. Don't delay. End "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" now.

Tell President Obama: It's time for action, not just promises.

During his State of the Union address, President Obama repeated his campaign promise to repeal "Don't Ask, Don't Tell." While it is always uplifting when a commitment to equality is reaffirmed on the grandest of stages, the time for promises is over. We need action and leadership now on DADT.

Please join Lt. Dan Choi and the Courage Campaign and demand that President Obama use the power of his office to repeal "Don't Ask Don't Tell":

President Barack Obama:

We, the undersigned, urge you to take immediate action to stop the discharge of gay and lesbian soldiers, like Lt. Dan Choi, as a result of the "Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell" policy.

Please use your authority as Commander-in-Chief to take immediate and decisive action to end this discriminatory policy. Furthermore, we ask that you take leadership in securing the swift passage and prompt signing of a permanent legislative repeal of this discriminatory policy.

Sincerely,
