Group Profile
It is critical that we continue the discussion of LGBT equality everywhere we go. Over the past few decades, our community has slipped into a false sense of acceptance. Instead what has really happened is most of us fled to places where we are accepted (ie big cities, liberal pockets) and left behind our roots, churches and families except for those occasional holidays. Well, now is the time to start those conversations back home, at work, in our churches once again. There are many ways to start this conversation. We've posted a few helpful tools online over at http://Startaconveration.org. Our tools are three documentary films that speak to those outside of the LGBT community thru the lens of family bonds, ethnicity and religion. Please check us out and feel free to post any other ideas!
