Dialing for Marriage Equality in Maine
(Phonebank)
Story of Community: We will be calling voters in Maine and asking them to vote No on 1 (their version of Prop 8)in November.
Defeating 1 in Maine means a win for Marriage Equality!
The more states that allow Same-Sex marriages will make it easier to overturn DOMA.
So please join us in Dialing for Marriage Equality in Maine and help us fight for Marriage Equality FOR ALL!
This is also a potluck event. So please bring a dish to share so we can dine while we are dialing.
Training will be provided.
What to bring:
Cell phone w/ charger (We will use our own phones to make the calls. Hopefully you have free weekend minutes)
A dish to share.
Laptop (optional: I am confirming if we can use an online program to make the calls)
