Movie for Equality (Part of Ides of March - A Date with Equality)

Gays UN and Marriage Equality USA are sponsoring Movie for Equality where participants are asked to go see Saving Marriage, a documentary about the Massachusetts'battle for marriage equality that was directed by Mike Roth and John A. Henning. Saving Marriage will be screened on Friday, March 13, 2009 at 8pm at the Regent Showcase Theater on La Brea Avenue in Los Angeles. The suggested donation is $5, 100% of which will go to Marriage Equality USA, a 501(c)(3) organization.
A Q/A session with the co-producers and co-directors will follow the screening.
Movie for Equality is part of a 3-day weekend fundraiser, Ides of March - A Date with Equality, to raise awareness and support for marriage equality. Proceeds will directly benefit MEUSA and support their efforts in fighting for Marriage Equality in California and across the country.
