Bradley Whitford, the New York Times and the Netroots say "No More Dirty Tricks"!
Contribute to Courage on ActBlue today to stop Rudy's theft of the White House
Believe it or not, the dirty trick is back from the dead.
The Los Angeles Times reports that a right-wing cabal of out-of-state Republican donors and consultants -- with strong connections to Rudolph Giuliani -- is reviving the "Electoral College Reform Initiative," a craven right-wing power grab to steal 20 electoral college votes and the White House in 2008.
We urgently need your help. Can you contribute $25, $50, or $150 or more right now to help us re-launch our "No Dirty Tricks" campaign and save 20 electoral college votes?
A scathing editorial by the New York Times called this dangerous California ballot initiative an "elaborate dirty trick" designed by a "shadowy group" to "do serious damage to our democracy."
Enough. No more dirty tricks. Not in California. Not in America.
As Bradley Whitford ("Josh Lyman" on The West Wing) says in this new YouTube video, we can't afford another four years or more of Iraq, Iran, torture, and wiretapping.
Please watch Part Two of Brad's YouTube videos on this dirty trick to steal the White House and then show your support for the Courage Campaign.
The Courage Campaign is uniting with the netroots and the grassroots to build a people-powered online infrastructure in California that will defeat this dirty trick. One way we're building netroots infrastructure is by using and supporting ActBlue, the online community tool that empowers anyone to fundraise online for progressive candidates and causes.
If you can contribute to the Courage Campaign, please consider giving a 5% or 10% tip to ActBlue on the next page.
