It’s nice to hear “it get’s better for some” but for all “it get’s worse” if we don't fight for our rights and just let the corrupt; dictators, religious & the Greedy Capitalists go on the way they’re going. BY ALLOWING THE KILLING OF GAYS, There for encouraging it. Read More »
My MYSPACE Blog: waste of an hour - My Atraction 11th Hour Blog: waste of 2 hours - My Blogger Blogspot: http://arishmary.blogspot.com/ My Squidoo Lens: http://www.squidoo.com/the-exceptional-michael-moore-one-of-the-people, my Netlog Blog: http://en.netlog.com/ArishmaryCanada, My Tumblr: http://arishmarycanada.tumblr.com, My WindowsLive: http://arishmary.spaces.live.com, My Take Part: Don’t know if it all went through though http://arishmarycanada.tumblr.com/, My Youth Noise: http://www.youthnoise.com/user/arishmary , my YahooPulse: http://profiles.yahoo.com/arishmarycanada, last but not least my Courage Campaign.
I saw Michael Moore on Larry King last night (Tuesday July 27) and he was fantastic with all he said, perfect when dealing with a sleeping interviewer that wakes up just to keep the interview going and ask another question (perhaps call you names during it). It’s so typical of that kind of a person to call Michael a Capitalist and assume he keeps all the profits of the amazing things he does for the Good People. He was so great though; cute and smiling a lot the way I love my Heroes.
He told us what he was doing last night and WOW, I never knew that he was doing all that for a small northern Michigan town that he moved to recently, and I think it’s so amazing of him.
Then close to the end of the interview, a person walking around unaware with no Conscious or Conscience; village id@+ was screaming his campaign stance for everyone to Vote for his favorite Mayor this Election time (but he sounded like he was screaming “Bill Gates! Bill Gates! Bill Gates!”, what a jerk). He sounded completely alone and unaware or as if he knew he was obstructing Michael.. Who knows.
It seems like to many people walk around not knowing what’s happening around them and I can’t stand it anymore (never want to leave the home at this point) and that’s why I LOVE the exceptional MICHAEL MOORE. He kept on smiling though and I hope you watched him, he inspired me to work all day today with no break, not even this break I‘m taking to tell you (his face is my desktop baby)…
Muawwww for you Michael, and you can call me at my home phone, I don’t own a cell. You were amazing, especially with the comments about Obama and his Administration and what they should and shouldn‘t do, like when you said (if I remember correctly) “We know that you can be and do the things we elected you to do” - Michael Moore.., and I know you had a great time (but more importantly, I know many people who didn‘t know things listened to you and know things now)..
It’s just I wish I felt like you had someone with you to take care of you, beyond the camera guy, because he’s to busy to approach screamers on the street and ask them to be quite for you.. However, THANK GOD FOR YOU MICHAEL. Xoxoxo wtg You have a Lucky Wife.
The Guardian wanted a response to their article for their Comment is Free section of the website, and asked me to write it. The result is now available: From Golden State to failed state.
With a 700-word limit it was difficult to be more expansive than I could here at Calitics. But my article makes the basic points: the 20th century model of California, emphasizing sprawl and weighing government down with absurd, non-functional rules designed to protect that sprawl, have produced "a California that more closely resembles the world of Charles Dickens than that of the Beach Boys."
We need to craft a new vision of the California Dream for the 21st century. Go read the article to see what that would look like.
I am writing to express my disappointment in both EQCA and the members of the LGBT Caucus for the email regarding the May 19 special election. First of all, I want to say that I understand that the propositions on the ballot exist only because California has a totally screwed-up budget process and that these propositions were part of the compromise that finally saw the budget ratified. I appreciate that the LGBT Caucus is probably merely holding up their end of the bargain in urging a blanket "Yes" vote on all the propositions -- at least I hope that is their reason. I also respect the fact that as the primary LGBT-lobbying organization in the state, EQCA has a reciprocal relationship with members of the LGBT caucus and, though without taking an official position on the propositions in question, did the Caucus a political favor by sending this message out to the EQCA listserv.
But now I want to take a moment to hopefully help you to understand my situation, and why I am so tremendously disappointed in both the LGBT Caucus and EQCA for what I believe is ultimately a cynical, political accommodation that will have grievous effects on many families. A simple disclaimer does not absolve EQCA of its social responsibility to the members of the LGBT community who look to them to provide sound political and legislative advice. Nor does being LGBT entitle the Caucus to use an organization like EQCA to facilitate its backdoor political deals. Read More »
Here in California the possibility looms as Republicans show no sign of budging on the budget. Saturday is the deadline for adding propositions to the November ballot, and as most budget solutions proposed have involved going to voters - whether it's Arnold's lottery bonds, his sales tax plan, or the Republicans' spending cap demands, the deadline becomes all-important: Read More »
