Welcome to the Third Dimension!

We have a chance to do the issue of equal rights for all partners the right way! There is an ignorance in the No on 8 movement of the need to address common law couples in CA (a very large group) and those who have organized themselves as a family but have more then two adult members.
We all seem to forget the twin brothers who live together or the aunt who is an integral part of the family. These latter members do not have the rights of spouses despite the intent of the family members.
These forgotten people can make the difference at the polls!
Let's repeal 8 and do it RIGHT!

When my daughter had to come home with our grandchildren her job situation prevented her from getting state health care yet she and our grandchildren needed this care!
The years she will probably be with us are years in which we are indeed a three adult and two child family and we need our work related health plans to cover our family with no excuses. She and we need to take advantage of the many other family tax and other advantages that were ours when our children were young.
Now this is an idea that makes me feel good about supporting every California regardless of sex, or religion!
Older parents might well find the adult childs insurance a powerful supplement to their medicare.
Its getting people to separate the idea of a family and its benefits and rights from marriage an act under the auspices of a religion.
