It seems to me that Meg Whitman has borrowed the campaign framework of George H W Bush from 1988.
Remember that slogan? The "Read My Lips - No New Taxes" line? How did that work out for all of us? He raised taxes right away! He basically said whatever he could to get him elected.
Meg Whitman is following in his footsteps. The State of California is so far in debt, that the only way to hepl our situation would be to raise taxes. Even on the millionaires. Like her.
But Meg is promising us all lower taxes. Just to get herslef elected.
And at the same time, protect her insanely large bank account, as well as her millionaire friends' bank accounts.
If she really wants to be governor of California, why doesn't she show us how her economic philosophy will help our state with a positivetly rooted campaign?
