As I was leaving work yesterday and fighting my way through lovely San Diego rush hour, I had a special pleasure that topped the usual drive-time radio (sorry 94/9). Comfortably strapped into the passenger seat was my cell phone flipped to speaker and cranked up as loud as possible; come heavy traffic or an abandoned couch blocking the two lane, I wasn't about to miss the Courage Campaign Conversation with Secretary of State Debra Bowen.

That said, I'm kinda crazy when it comes to this kind of stuff. I also don't have pressing issues like, say, actually working at that time or having kids to take care of or being sick or any other number of reasonable, real world commitments.
