Electoral Reform

I was recently directed to Rick Jacobs at California Courage by Meagan Matson of Mainstream Mothers Opposed to Bush (MMOB) In 2004,in conjunction with MMOB's Swing State Voter Registration Strategy, I volunteered to study the 2000 election and the Electoral College in order to educate the electorate. I concluded that the District Plan is the proper reform, but as a Federal Constitution Amendmentment, not a state by state issue. If the GOP was intent upon true reform, they would have also introduced their initiative in Texas (34 EV) and Florida (27 EV), as well as California (55).
My next posting will outline what I consider to be the proper method of reform by proposing a Constitutional Amendment to be sponsor by a Bi-partisan coalition. Incidently, A National Popular Vote replacing an abolished EC is absolutely the worst reform
If you agree, I would appreciate your response. and recommend you contact Fraud Busters at The California Democratic Committeeals appreciate your input. If you disagree, I would appreciate an outline of your proposed reform. appre
