DOES GAY MONEY EFFECT THE ECONOMY?

HOW MUCH DOES GAY (FRIENDLY) MONEY EFFECT THE ECONOMY?
It's really hard to tell.
But What if we could tell with something like "Gay Money"?
Personally, I think it's a lot.
Many Gays (and their friends) have a lot of Disposable income. (I.E. Money that is spent on things that are NOT JUST FOR SURVIVAL) Look at all the People in the Major Cities and Film industry for just one such example.
I have Heard a lot about "Boycotting" the people and businesses that have Supported the "YES on Prop 8" with contributions. I'm ALL FOR IT!
But it's difficult to get any type of accurate List.
Yet alone memorize it.
It's also difficult to boycott on some of the Businesses because there might have been ONE PERSON who owns ONE STORE of a FRANCHISE contributing to "Yes on 8"... Like maybe from EL POLLO LOCO... instead of the owner from a WHOLE CHAIN OF STORES. Like, the now deceased, Carl Karcher of Carl's Jr. Fast food Restaurants.
SO WHAT TO DO?
I CAN'T MAKE ANYONE DO ANYTHING...
BUT IT WOULD SEEM EASIER (to me) IF UNDER THE FREEDOM OF SPEECH CLAUSE people where to show how much Business "gay" friendly people conduct in the course of their day.
Try to Do ONLY transactions with Gay / Straight / Bi / Trans-gender / Equal Rights Friendly Associates and Businesses.
They could put up signs saying equal rights friendly.
Or to take and give "Gay" Dollars.
Real Dollars that have "Gay - NO Prop 8 - Pink colored in Pyramids on the Back" written on them.
(Disclaimer: Beware, this is just ideas about the way to protested under Freedom of Speech, and I do not endorse anyone breaking the law of writing on US currency, because I think (I'm not sure) it might be illegal to do such a thing. But I can't stop others from doing what they feel is correct for themselves. wink, wink.)
In my opinion, If the STATE of California and it's People can Break the Law (US AND STATE'S CONSTITUTION) and OUR Rights by enforcing "Prop 8" then I'm SURE there will be many who might do the "gay" Dollar thing and feel it's justifiable and correct as a form of Protest.
I mean hey... it sure beats burning down cities like the "Blacks" do every time they get upset... Remember the Rodney King Police's first Verdict?
My personal feelings? I think that idea would make other people (like Yes on 8) think more about how much gay people effect this economy... and that would be a WONDERFUL THING!
Can you Imagine People at Church, who are religious but afraid to speak out about this issue because they might be excommunicated? They could donate just 1 gay dollar, instead of nothing... and the collection plates come back with half full of Gay Dollars?
That might even shake up a places like the Saddleback or Mormon Churches.
