Are all state legislators retarded? Obviously law suits cost money. Gay tourist may no longer want to come here. Police for repeal efforts at demonstrations cost money. As a home owner in Los Angeles county, if I could sell my home for what it's worth I would have left soon after the vote. I Feel as a progressive state California is way behind the times. I left New England, specifically New Hampshire at age 18 for fear I would be killed for coming out. New England these days is way ahead of the curve compared to California in how it views same sex couples.
