One law, one set of rights for all Citizens who self organize as Families! Discrimination against sexual preference and individual choice of partners undermines everyone's rights while marriage has no place under the control or restriction by any political authority! Religious marriage can have no rights what so ever under the law. People married religiously obtain the same rights as anyone who agrees to a contract to form a family by signing the same contract. Religious marriage can neither create such a contract or dissolve it. Let us create a new Proposition which terminates Prop 8 and creates a State Wide Law for a contract which establishes a family under the law. Such families will have all rights presently accorded a married couple. No limit can be set on such a family for size, religion, sex, race or any other restriction except that each member is of legal age and each member joins the family of their own free will. No on 8! No on any tie between the state and marriage!
