I thought it was stupid that in the Proposition information booklet that stated prop 8 would cause little or no fiscal impact to our state. Are all state legislators retarded? Obviously law suits cost money. Gay tourist may no longer want to come here. Police for repeal efforts at demonstrations cost money. As a home owner in Los Angeles county, if I could sell my home for what it's worth I would have left soon after the vote. I Feel as a progressive state California is way behind the times. I left New England, specifically New Hampshire at age 18 for fear I would be killed for coming out. New England these days is way ahead of the curve compared to California in how it views same sex couples. I think California better wake up or become even more bankrupt than it already is.
