Call Governor Brown: End HIV Stigma
Senate Bill 239 -- which would modernize California's HIV criminal laws and significantly improve public health -- has passed the legislature. Now it’s facing its biggest hurdle yet as it heads to Governor Brown’s desk.
California's current HIV laws were written in the 1980's and 90's. It's time we change these laws and stop criminalizing and stigmatizing people living with HIV. Will you place a call to Governor Brown and ask him to sign SB 239 into law and help protect people with HIV?
