Petiton Senator Claire McCaskill on Twitter to co-sponsor DADT repeal bill

Senator McCaskill is well known for her love of Twitter, with a reputation of being the best twitterer in Congress. She also sits on the critical Armed Services Committee and is not yet co-sponsoring the bill to repeal Don't Ask, Don't Tell.

We are using an innovative new system called Act.Ly to send a special Twitter only petition to Senator McCaskill urging her to co-sponsor the Military Readiness Enhancement Act.

Just tweet the following to sign the petition:

Here is the full petition:

Senator Claire McCaskill: We call on you to co-sponsor the “Military Readiness Enhancement Act of 2010,” the Senate bill co-sponsored by Armed Services Committee Chair Sen. Carl Levin that would repeal “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell”. As a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee — the critical legislative body that will determine the fate of repealing DADT — your co-sponsorhip is crucial to this bill’s final passage.
